In 2021, after some COVID-induced life changes, we moved to Fergus Falls, MN to run nearby Swan Lake Resort & Campground. We fell in love with creating spaces and providing guests an authentic Minnesota lakeside experience. In this day and age, we think getting together with friends & family is more important than ever.

In 2025, we decided to start the Ugly Duckling Lodge to create a more private lakeside experience and to help support our growing family.

We’d be honored to host you at this unique lakeside retreat. Our job is to help make it a good time.
